This policy explains what personal information villasangabriele.com collects, why, and what rights you have over it. This is a small, brochure-style website for a single holiday property — it does not run advertising, analytics or tracking scripts, and it does not ask you to create an account.
Who we are
Villa San Gabriele, Località San Gabriele, 05018 Orvieto (TR), Italy, is the data controller for this website — the party responsible for deciding how and why any personal data is processed. The property is not registered as a company; it is operated by its owner as a private individual, tax ID (Codice Fiscale) GRGCRS78S08Z404S, national tourist accommodation code (CIN) IT055023C204032942. For anything relating to this policy, contact info@villasangabriele.com.
What information we collect
This site does not have a contact form, does not let visitors create an account, and does not run any analytics or advertising trackers. The only personal information we ever receive is what you choose to send us directly:
- If you email us — using the address shown on the Contact page — we receive whatever you include: typically your name, email address, and the contents of your message.
We do not automatically collect browsing data, and this site does not set any cookies of its own for tracking or advertising purposes.
Booking and payment
Bookings are handled entirely by Lodgify, a third-party booking and payment platform. When you check dates or book a stay, you leave this website and complete the reservation on Lodgify’s own secure checkout page. This site never receives, stores or has access to your booking details, payment information or card details — that information is held by Lodgify, under its own privacy policy, not this one.
Reviews shown on this site
The Airbnb rating shown on this site is entered by us directly from our Airbnb listing — Airbnb does not provide an automated way for us to read guest reviews, so this is not a live connection to any personal data. Google reviews, where shown, are retrieved automatically from Google’s Places API using our Google Business Profile; this call does not send any of your information to Google, only a request for our own public listing data.
How long we keep information
We keep emails for as long as is reasonably useful for the correspondence they relate to — generally, for the duration of planning and completing a stay, and a reasonable period afterwards in case of a follow-up query — and delete them once there is no ongoing reason to keep them.
Your rights
If you are in the European Union or United Kingdom, data protection law (GDPR) gives you the right to:
- ask what personal information we hold about you, and get a copy of it;
- ask us to correct information that is inaccurate or incomplete;
- ask us to delete your information;
- object to or ask us to restrict how we use it; and
- complain to a supervisory authority — in Italy, the Garante per la protezione dei dati personali — if you believe your data has been mishandled.
To exercise any of these, email info@villasangabriele.com.
Changes to this policy
If what this site does with personal information changes, this page will be updated and the date at the top revised accordingly.
